Indigenous People and Boarding Schools

Government-supported boarding schools and their legacies are an important current issue for Indigenous peoples. Dr. Mt. Pleasant is an expert in the colonial origins of these schools. She has organized panel discussions, published book chapters, collaborated on a community-based exhibit, and given press interviews on this topic.
