Alyssa Mt. Pleasant was a Radcliffe Fellow in 2015-2016 and a participant in the Initiative on Native and Indigenous Peoples. This initiative is a partnership between the Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Study and the Harvard University Native American Program (HUNAP), is exploring the acquisition and expression of political power by Native and Indigenous peoples through lectures, conferences, exhibitions, performances, fellowships, seminars, and archival research.
